Assurity is an insurance company that helps people through difficult times. More than a business with a bottom line, Assurity also meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

I joined Assurity in November of 2016, and throughout my two years there, I spearheaded conceptualization, strategy, content and design for multiple projects, campaigns and events. I was also instrumental in developing Assurity’s new voice and tone, as well as the guidelines behind implementation, for Assurity’s launch of the rebrand in early 2019.

Competitive Comparison Project Breakdown

Goal: Communicate what Assurity does better than the competition; avoid a bash-ad.

Process:  I created a SWOT analysis for both Assurity and the competitor to find our high-points and their lows- then translated those sweet spots into consumable copy and impactful, succinct imagery.
